Alan presented an overview on the work the lab is doing in societal outreach as part of an interesting symposium on Scientific Responsibility at the Dutch Society for Brain and Cognition Winter Conference (aka NVP), which takes place at the surprisingly pleasant Dutch coast every second December.

A new article by Sarah Vahed (PhD Candidate) and Alan has been accepted for publication in Nature Communications Psychology!
In their paper, "Large-scale community study reveals information sampling drives fairness decisions", choices related to unfairness were collected from over 10,000 volunteer members of the public during a 13-month period, all within a naturalistic experimental setting: within an educational museum in Nijmegen! We are very happy to have collaborated with the Donders CityLab on this citizen science project. Check out the publication tab for more!
Sarah also wrote a blog summary of the paper for Springer Nature for their 'Behind the Paper' section, which can be read here, called “What Bringing the Lab to the Public Taught Us About Fairness" by Sarah Vahed (https://communities.springernature.com/posts/what-bringing-the-lab-to-the-public-taught-us-about-fairness)
