In October, Sarah Vahed (PhD Candidate) organized a two-day workshop in Amsterdam on the Psychological and Economic Perspectives on Economic Inequality, together with Dianna Amasino (Assistant Prof., Tilburg) and Leon Hilbert (Assistant Prof., UvA), as part of the Economic Inequality Network of the Netherlands.
During the event, 40 scholars from multiple countries heard two fascinating keynotes from Prof. Ingvild Almas (Zurich) and Prof. Barnabas Scaszi (Hungary), and 20 talks from researchers across psychology, economics and neuroscience investigating all aspect of inequality, including wealth redistribution, meritocratic beliefs, and the implications of socio-economic inequality on childhood development and prosocial behaviours. Well done on co-ordinating this event, Sarah!
