Alan presented some of the lab's research at a recent invited talk at the Munich Interactive Intelligence Initiative. This group works on topics related to collective experiences and decisions, employing both conceptual and experimental approaches, and provided a stimulating venue for our work.Â

Alan gave a keynote presentation at the recent annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics in Dublin, Ireland. This meeting was an interesting gathering of researchers studying decision-making at the intersection of the three aforementioned fields.

Achiel’s paper on memory models for novel decision-making has been accepted for publication in Cognitive Psychology. This paper proposes a mechanistic model of how we sift through previous episodic memories to make decisions about new, unfamiliar, choice options. See the publication tab for more information.
