In June, Alan and Sarah Vahed attended the Reinforcement Learning and Decision-Making Conference 2025, hosted at Trinity College Dublin. Many thanks to the organising team for putting together an energising program in Ireland on the intersection of cognitive and computer science.Â

Alan presented some of the lab's research at a recent invited talk at the Munich Interactive Intelligence Initiative. This group works on topics related to collective experiences and decisions, employing both conceptual and experimental approaches, and provided a stimulating venue for our work.Â

Alan gave a keynote presentation at the recent annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience, Psychology, and Economics in Dublin, Ireland. This meeting was an interesting gathering of researchers studying decision-making at the intersection of the three aforementioned fields.
