As the academic year ends we unfortunately have to say goodbye to a lot of our lovely lab members. This time Julia is leaving us as she has finished her Master's internship in our group. She will now reinforce the research section of the European Union as a Junior Policy Officer, in the Guild of Research Intensive Universities. We wish you all the best Julia!
Recently, a special feature written in our lab has been accepted for an extraordinary branch of Frontiers, namely Frontiers for Young Minds. In the article titled "Why are we not more selfish? Insights from neuroscience and psychology experiments", several theories addressing human prosocial behaviour are illustrated to an unusual and promising audience: kids! The article is currently in press and will soon appear as a 'Neuroscience Core Concept', so stay tuned!
Alan gave a keynote lecture on prosocial preferences as part of the "Social Minds, Social Brains" pre-conference at the European Association of Social Psychology, in Granada, Spain. And with a beautiful view at that!
