Alan presented some of our work to the general public at the monthly Science Cafe Nijmegen, which was appropriately held at the local Irish pub. A good time was had by all!
Yesterday, Alan gave a talk on environmental decision making, in which he discussed why people find it hard to make environmentally friendly decisions, and how people can change this to progress towards a sustainable lifestyle. His talk was part of a series of lectures that is organized by the Donders Institute to celebrate the 200th anniversary of F.C. Donders; one of the founders of (cognitive) neuroscience. See the video for a teaser of the lecture!
At this year's Donders Discussions (a Donders Institute conference organized by and for PhD students) Jeroen gave a talk on his fMRI study called Diffusion of culpability in reparations behavior. His talk was part of a parallel session on Decision Making hosted by Inge.
